The forward-backward asymmetry of c- and b-quarks is determined from a combined analysis of several D meson decay modes. The analysis is based on the data taken with the Delphi detector at LEP in the years 1992 to 1995 at energies around the Z resonance. The heavy quark is tagged by the exclusive reconstruction of nine different D meson decay modes. Using a combined fit in the variables of the scaled energy of the D meson XE, a transformed btag variable Pev and the production angle Q cos θTh of the D meson a simultaneous determination of the forward-backward asymmetry of c- and b-quarks is performed.
