As flavour-changing neutral currents are highly suppressed in the Standard Model of particle physics, these processes are sensitive to physics beyond the Standard Model. To differentiate between signal and background, advanced reconstruction methods are employed for creating kinematic distributions. Multivariate analysis techniques are utilised to optimize the differentiation between signal and background, leading to expected upper exclusion limits on the branching ratio B (t qH) in a binned profile likelihood fit including a full set of systematic uncertainties. The obtained expected exclusion limits amount to B (t uH) < 4.1 · 104 and B (t cH) < 5.0 · 104 for the branching ratio corresponding to the utH and ctH couplings respectively.von Oliver ThielmannTag der Verteidigung: 14.12.2023Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Dissertation, 2023Wuppertal539urn:nbn:de:hbz:468-2-169010.25926/BUW/0-16799373467404006441Search for flavour-changing neutral current interactions in the top-quark Higgs boson sector in multi-lepton final states with the ATLAS detector at the LHC at √s = 13 TeVThielmann, Oliver, 1995-Druck-AusgabeHT030626517http://dx.doi.org/10.25926/BUW/0-167https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:hbz:468-2-1690Open AccessCC BY 4.02023-12-14oaDoctoralThesispublicrda24010120251111100834.0CT009000182s2w-hsswupubwgerUBW:C:C.02 https://elekpub.bib.uni-wuppertal.de//domainresource/static/graphics/connectors/viewerLogo.gifWuppertal : Bergische Universität Wuppertalcc-by https://ub-wuppertal.digibib.net/search/katalog/record/(DE-605)urn%3Anbn%3Ade%3Ahbz%3A468-2-1690 https://elekpub.bib.uni-wuppertal.de/id/7376872 https://elekpub.bib.uni-wuppertal.de/i3f/v20/7376872/manifest https://elekpub.bib.uni-wuppertal.de/proto_ftsearch/7376872
