The undertaking is one with which I am in fullest sympathy, and I shall be glad to give it all the support in my power. I shall also call attention to the undertaking from time to time in The Philosophical Review.</p><p>I think that I can also engage to <pb/> <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-603"/>send<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-603"/> you from time to time <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-604"/>accounts of the Literature of the subject<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-604"/> so far as America is concerned. <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-605"/>How often<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-605"/> should such an account be sent? America has <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-606"/>not<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-606"/> contributed very much to the literature of the subject but I know of several Dissertations soon to be published and at least one book. Would you wish that account should be taken of articles in journals <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-607"/>as well as of books, Dissertations, <abbr>etc.</abbr>?<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-607"/></p><p>I would gladly send some contribution at once, if I had anything ready. But there has been nothing of importance dealing with <name>Kant</name> <pb/> <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-608"/>published<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-608"/> in this country for some time. However, I shall try and find something <hi rend="underline">if possible</hi> – it may be that I can get an author’s Notice or two.</p><p>Would you care to have an account of the American books already existing which deal with <name>Kant</name>? They are alas very few, and of very minor importance compared with what you have <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-609"/>produced<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-609"/> in Germany.
