There will be a Social Congress, a Religious Congress, an Educational Congress, a Philosophical Congress, <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-258"/><abbr>etc.</abbr><anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-258"/></p><p>The undersigned has been appointed chairman of the Executive Committee of the Philosophical Congress. It is the intention of the Managers to invite the leading philosophical thinkers and writers of the world to be present and to read papers on philosophical subjects and to join in discussions. I have much pleasure in inviting you to be present and to read a paper; or, if you cannot be present, at least to send a paper. Any subject in which you may be interested will be appropriate.
