To begin with at least I <hi rend="underline">should</hi> <hi rend="underline">limit</hi> <hi rend="underline">our</hi> <hi rend="underline">bibliography</hi> <hi rend="underline">to</hi> <hi rend="underline">the</hi> <hi rend="underline">first</hi> <hi rend="underline">of</hi> <hi rend="underline">these</hi> <hi rend="underline">classes</hi>. The article would give the titles, authors, dates, <abbr>etc.</abbr> of books, with a <hi rend="underline">very</hi> <hi rend="underline">brief</hi> account of their contents and a critical estimate of their value. I know no one more competent than yourself to prepare such an article; and it will give me great pleasure to be assured that you are willing to undertake it for the <hi rend="underline">Review</hi>.</p><p>The <hi rend="underline">Review</hi> pays for all solicited articles at the rate of $ 1.50 (about six <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-20"/>Marks<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-20"/>) per page. <abbr>Messrs.</abbr> <anchor type="delimiter" subtype="start" xml:id="ED-21"/>Mayer &amp; Müller<anchor type="delimiter" subtype="end" corresp="#ED-21"/> of Berlin are the German agents. The <hi rend="underline">Review</hi> is an organ of general philosophy, addressed to the American and even the entire English-speaking philosophical world.
