Vaihinger an Albert Einstein, Halle, 5.6.1923, Ts. mit eU, Regest in: https://einsteinpapers.press.princeton.edu/vol14-doc/946
Regest (Zitat): „Sends the three judges’ evaluations of the Einstein Prize competition[1] organized by the Als-Ob Gesellschaft, and the unanimous decision in choosing the finalist[2], Aloys Wenzl, from Munich. Regrets the low amount of 5,000 M allotted to the prize and asks whether additional prize money could be found from a donor, also to reward the runners-up. Raymund Schmidt also agrees with the prize award. He also objects to Reichenbach 1922[3], which characterizes the “Als-Ob” philosophy as critical of the theory of relativity, which it is not. After lecturing to the Kant Society in Halle and discussing the matter in person, Reichenbach has agreed to modify his earlier statement.“
